Discover access to Rabbinic Services for Jews in Western Canada and Beyond
There are many reasons Jews remain unaffiliated from Temples or Synagogues. Sometimes it's a matter of philosophy and sometimes it's by dint of geography. No matter what the reason, it is still possible to experience a spiritually fulfilling Jewish life.
The Sol Mark Centre for Jewish Excellence
Whether it's Jewish learning, family life-cycle celebrations, or community programming our mandate is to connect unaffiliated Jews with their Jewish traditions and heritage. Rabbi bat Joseph will provide education, life-cycle and community programmes tailored to our needs.
Building our Future, Preserving our Past
When we launched our centre three years ago, we did not know if we would grow or how fast. Now we find ourselves in the wonderful situation of needing a Torah scroll of our own for our Bar and Bat Mitzvah services and to be able to bring Torah to small communities near and far.
We are now fundraising to purchase a refurbished Torah scroll. We decided on refurbished rather than new because each scroll scribed is a little piece of Jewish history. By preserving and renewing an already existing scroll, we are giving new life to the work of previous generations of Jewish scribes and continuing to build the history of that scroll.
We invite you to be a part of our history and our future by making a donation towards the purchase of a Torah scroll. All donations are 100% eligible for a tax receipt and no donation is too small. Please consider making a contribution by clicking on the link below. We couldn't do what we do without our donors.
Todah Rabbah (Many Thanks) for your generosity.
